Fresh from an 8-0 win, the Panthers powered through the game, successfully defeating Portledge. It was a very physical and somewhat chippy game against an admittedly stronger team, but PDS prevailed in the end. The game was closer than the scoreline would suggest, with the Panthers’s last two goals beating only the goal-line, as Portledge had pulled their goaltender to create a 6-5 advantage on the other end. Junior Cody Triolo led the way with a hat trick, and classmate Conrad Denise recorded his 100th career point (assists and goals). PDS is now 13-4-1 for the season, and hopes to continue its success on Friday at home against the highly competitive Notre Dame.
